Whitehall catfish pond next to the fish lab
.

The fisheries society would like to wish everyone a great fall semester and welcome all new students, faculty, and staff.  In the spirit of starting the academic year off right, we would like to get to know the new members of the Warnell family and reconnect with old friends.  Therefore, we invite everyone to spend a relaxing evening casting some lines into the Whitehall catfish pond. We will be grilling burgers, hot dogs, & traditional fixins (Vegetarian options also) while everyone can get to know one another and the fisheries society.  Bring your own pole or borrow one from us for some catch and release fishing in the pond.  We especially want to see returning members and any new students interested in aquatic resources.  All majors welcome, all you need is an interest in aquatic ecosystems.
