Club Information

Meeting Information:

• Weekly UGAnime Meetings are held from 7:00pm to 10:00pm on Mondays in room 148 of the Student Learning Center on the University of Georgia campus in Athens, Georgia for your convenience and pleasure. Occassionally showings will take place in other rooms or buildings, but these exceptions will be announced. The auditorium accomodates 150 and has stadium style seating. All anime is shown on a large projection screen. At Wednesday Organizational "Org" Meetings held in at 9pm in room 141 in the Tate Center, the officers and dedicated club members gather to discuss important club events. Come here if you want to get more involved in the club, learn about upcoming events (booths, street paintings, conventions), and get to know the fellow members.

• In case you are unfamiliar with the building names on campus, the Student Learning Center is the large brand new building which is near the Tate Center and bookstore. Parking can be difficult, so plan ahead. It is possible to park in lot N11, however space in this lot is usually very cramped. Lot W03 may also be an accptable place to park. Hull St. parking deck is also free after 6pm. You can see maps of all parking zones, as well as where Tate and the Student Learning Center are at the Parking Services map page here. You will need a way to view PDF files though.

• A schedule of our shows for the current semester, along with general descriptions of each can be found here. The schedule for the upcoming semester is not announced until the second Monday meeting of the semester, after the new officers have decided upon the scheduled shows.

• If you are concerned for your safety coming to and from meetings, please get in touch with one of the officers and we will see what can be arranged.
