    HR has posted the slide show they are presenting at the benefits
    meeting (check your newsletter for times and places of the live
    presentations). click for the slideshow (it may take up to 3 minutes to load)
  • The next UGARA Council Meeting will immediately preceed the
    New Retirees Reception at the Georgia Center, Tuesday, December 8th,
    (meeting at 4:00 - Reception at 4:30) at the Georgia Center

    (Trip is currenly full with a waiting list)

  • Join the eGaMorning Listserv -- receive a daily email which
    summarizes what's going on at UGA and news that empacts it.
  • The Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library on the third floor of
    the main Library is still interested in obtaining any materials pertaining
    to the history of UGARA. If yu have anything (pictures, past newsletters,
    etc.) take it to Steven Allan. Call 542-7123 to check on the Hargrett
    Library hours.

Not a Member of UGARA? UGARA was established in 1991 as an official retirees' organization for both faculty and staff and is sponsored by the UGA Alumni Association. Stay informed! Join the UGARA-L listserv to receive notices about benefits, changes, upcoming events and other things of interest to UGA Retirees. To join, send an email to listserv@listsev.uga.edu with the message " sub ugara-l yourname" (no quotes and substitute your name). That's all there is to it. The list is announcements only (not a discussion list) and is very low volume.

Did you know: Retired UGA faculty and staff are eligible for a free second-class postage subscription to COLUMNS (upgrade to first class for $15/year). To subscribe, send the necessary details (name, retired status, address) with check (if needed) to Columns, News Service, A205 Stegeman Coliseum, UGA. Or call 542-8077 with questions. COLUMNS can also be read online at: http://www.uga.edu/columns/

Additionally, UGA retirees can obtain annual campus parking passes for 1/2 price.
