  • ACC On-Line The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County's Home on the Internet. "Beyond the Arch" the section of ACC On-Line with documents relating to ordinaces and regulations (includes printable versions in PDF format). ACC On-Line also has a page for the ACC Public Information Office.
  • On-LineAthens A resource for information that may affect UGA Staff; this is not an endorsement of the Athens Banner-Herald.
  • Report of the State Auditor ending June 30, 2005. Under "Most Frequently Requested Documents" click on Salary and Travel Supplement. State Employee Personnel listing (including positions, travel expenses and salaries); and State Agencies, Boards, Authorities and Commissions. It is built in such a way that you can compare your salary with others holding the same title as yourself. Look for the salary link at the lower left of the auditor's letter.
  • Athens Canine Rescue! "ACR is a non profit, licensed canine rescue organization run entirely by volunteers and financed through donations. We don't operate a shelter facility; all our dogs live with foster families until they are adopted into permanent homes. All ACR dogs are current on shots and are spayed or neutered. This site is filled with pictures of our wonderful adoptables, as well as information about events, volunteering, etc. Click on the links in the green box to look around!"

  • The Georgia No-Call List Web Site courtesy of the Georgia Public Service Commission. Or phone 1-877-Ga No Call There is a $5.00 charge to get on the State's No-Call list.
  • The Georgia On Line Network The State of Georgia website with just about anything you want to know about Georgia! Under "Legislative Session" you can find out everything you want to know about bills, and their status and can even get daily updates and track bills you're interested in. You can also click on links to find out information on either the House or Senate and repsentatives. (Staff Council does not take a stand on any issues presented on this page.)
  • The Georgia Info Page This is done by the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, The University of Georgia. It contains general information, maps. and voter, legislature, city and county information.
  • Georgia Teachers Organization The organization of Georgia Educators advocating increased salary, retirement and health benefits for Georgia teachers, faculty, and staff members.
