Emiko Soltis - Northfield, Minn.

Junior, International Affairs, Foreign Policy, and Music

Q: What's your favorite bar in Athens?

A: Flannagan's, because the people are neutral.

Q: What's your favorite local restaurant?

A: Five Star Day. The people are good to talk to, and you always meet someone new.

Q: What do you collect?

A: Postcards. I get one everywhere I go. My favorite is one from the Czech Republic with the Saint Charles Bridge on it.

Steven Landers - Jonesboro, Ga.

Senior, Computer Science

Q: What's your favorite local restaurant?

A: Last Resort. It's fantastic!

Q: What do you collect?

A: Musical instruments. I have everything from a bass to a ukulele to a guitar. I just like learning different ones.

Phillip Blume - Athens, Ga.

Junior, Photojournalism

Q: Do you do any volunteer work in Athens?

A: Yes, a group called AWANA through my church. It stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, which comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 in the Bible. It's sort of like a Biblically-centered Boy and Girl Scouts.

Q: Would you ever consider laser-corrective surgery for your eyes?

A: Yes, probably in the next couple of years. My brother-in-law did it, and it was successful.

Tiffany Holde - Marietta, Ga.

Q: What's your favorite local restaurant?

A: Last Resort. It's really good and cheap for lunch.

Q: Do you do any volunteer work in Athens?

A: Yes, with the Northeast Georgians Against Discrimination.
