The 2007 UGA Homecoming Court has been announced!

2007 UGA HOMECOMING COURT
Erin Beasley
Alpha Delta Pi
Erin was elected to the executive board of the Panhellenic Council as Director of Finance and Correspondence in 2006, and is currently serving as President for 2007. Erin was also selected as one of the 36 members of the Arch Society, and she trained and completed a full marathon in San Diego, California, raising funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Jennifer Bellamy
Delta Sigma Theta
Jennifer was an intern at Turner and Fox 5 News. She was elected the president of her sorority, and she is honored and excited about being selected for UGA’s 2007 Homecoming Court.
"To Me UGA is a home away from home. UGA has given me so much in the past few years and I couldn't imagine my life without the time I have spent here. There is no place I would rather be than here at UGA with my friends and those who love and care about me."
Megan Bruner
The Arch Society
Megan is a proud member of Alpha Omicron Pi in which she served on the Leadership Council as Vice President of Academic Development in 2006. Also, Megan is the Director of Case Administration for Justices on the University Judiciary, and this past summer she interned with Representative Jack Kingston as a part of the Honors in Washington Summer Program.
"To me the University of Georgia is a place of discovery, growth, and opportunity. UGA has enabled me to shape my character and pursue my life goals while still maintaining my core values. Even further, I have formed the strongest, most amazing relationships that I will value and cherish for the rest of my life. I am so proud to call UGA my home and celebrate its tradition, past, and present this fall."

Kellie served as the Executive Director for UGA Dawg Camp from 2006-2007. Kellie was a member of the UGA Rowing Team from 2004-2007. She served on the Club Sports Executive Council from 2005-2007.
"To me, Georgia is defined by its incredible people and institutions. I am grateful for the role models and positive influences that have that challenged me to be a part of something bigger than myself. My experience at UGA has defined and strengthened my character in a truly meaningful way."

HOMECOMING QUEEN

Natalie has served on the executive board of Phi Mu as Panhellenic Delegate and Chaplain. Natalie was the Director of Morale Committee for 2007-2008 Dance Marathon. She was also a member of the Wesley Foundations leadership of the Hip-Hop Dance Ministry and the Cross Trainers mentoring program.

"To me the University of Georgia is an inspiring fusion of people, cultures, academia, social life, and beliefs that boasts a tradition of excellence. It is the roar of the crowd on a Saturday night in Sanford Stadium, dance parties with Krush Girls, long nights at Hot Corner, discovering new ceramic bulldogs, shaving cream wars at Dawg Camp Discovery, experiencing classes from African drumming to advertising, the taste of Snelling’s chicken phillies, the smell of Jittery Joes coffee in the SLC, and the sight of the fountains and Frisbee games on North Campus. This university’s population unites under the premise of wisdom, justice and moderation to celebrate the glory, yes glory that ole Georgia deserves."

Student Athlete Advisory Committee
Brad has been a four year member of the 2007 #1 ranked UGA Men’s Tennis Team. He was recently named the recipient of the Joel Eaves Scholar-Athlete award, received by one male and one female student-athlete with the highest GPA entering their senior year. Brad has also been a four-year member and currently a vice president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.

HOMECOMING KING

Dennis helped organize a service learning trip to Thailand with the Global Engagement Learning Community. He had the privilege of being a 2007 Orientation Leader. He helped work in support of the Forever Young Campaign, which recruits college students to participate in the Athens Clarke County Mentoring Program.

"To me the University of Georgia is a land filled with opportunity. In my 3 years here at the University, I have had the opportunity to go abroad, participate in different philanthropic events, take many exciting and challenging courses, and HAVE FUN! It is so important that every college student takes advantage of the opportunities they are given as well as have a healthy balance of academics and social life. I feel truly blessed to have been able to partake in so much that UGA has to offer."
Jeffrey Elrod
UGA Habitat for Humanity
Jeff is a member of the UGA Accidentals which put out an album called “14 and Change” his sophomore year. Jeff and a few brave Kno Limit Soldiers trekked to Tuscaloosa, AL for this year's UGA-'Bama game and had an incredibly memorable experience, and he also takes great pride in his time served as a UGA Bus driver.
"To me, the University of Georgia is late nights in the Science Library, early morning interviews at Clark Howell Hall, Saturday in Athens, Sunday Night Dinner, Christmas at Five Points, driving the bus up and down Milledge, and the sense of pride that comes with being a part of the Bulldog Nation, which is something that I'll be fortunate enough to carry with me for the rest of my life."
Andrew Head
The Arch Society
Andrew was selected as a member of the Leonard Leadership Scholars, run through the Terry College of Business. In high school he mastered the challenging piano piece, Prelude in C-Sharp Minor by Rachmaninoff, which he played in the GMEA All-State piano competition. Recently, Andrew underwent a complicated shoulder surgery, the recovery from which required a great deal of willpower and strength.
"To me the University of Georgia is: good times, good friends, and an incredible college experience."
Adam Thomas
Lambda Alliance
Adam is the director of Resources and former Co-Chair of Social Justice Committee for Lambda Alliance. Adam has held many leadership positions for the University Judiciary. He was also vice president for Campus Outreach and former Administrative Secretary for UGA Habitat for Humanity, where he created the Habitat Ambassadors program, a recruitment and education team for the UGA campus.
"To me the University of Georgia is a community of scholars, that has provided me a home and family for my past four year in Athens. It is a place I love and will remember fondly for the rest of my life."
