Ideas and Issues brings various lectures, debates and open forums on social, political and educational issues. Past speakers have included authors Kurt Vonnegut, Pat Conroy, and Amy Tan; political speakers Neal Boortz, P.J. O'Rourke, and James Carville; scientist James Burke from "The Learning Channel;" filmmakers Jim McKay and Spike Lee; author and restauranteur Weaver D; and X-files actor William B. Davis, among others. From entertainment to politics, science to education, journalism to women's studies, Ideas and Issues offers programs to fit everyone's tastes.
