Members of University Round Table work to make sure the organization runs smoothly. The Executive Board is comprised of students, faculty, and community members. The board is always looking for comments and suggestions, so please feel free to contact any of them!

Student Board

Kevin Bradberry, President. He is a Junior from Marietta, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Philosophy. Kevin is actively involved in College Republicans, and is Assistant Head Delegate for the UGA Model UN team.

Jeff Koon, Member-at-large. He is a Senior from Columbus, GA, majoring in Real Estate with a minor in geography. He is active in his fraternity, and numerous other organizations on campus.

Laura Danielle Berlin, Vice President of Membership. Laura is a sophomore from New York who is majoring in Real Estate. She enjoys working out, traveling the world, social activities, and helping others.

Emily Hiebert, VP of Communications. She is an International Affairs major in the school of Public and International Affairs and is a French Minor. She is also involved in Kappa Delta Sorority, Pi Delta Phi National French Honors Society, Big Brother Big Sister, International Affairs Committee, and French Club.

Elissa Dranove, VP of Finance.  She is a Senior from Marietta , GA majoring in Risk Management & Insurance and minoring in Environmental Law.  Elissa is actively involved in her sorority, is a mentor and tutor at a local high school, and is an officer of the Insurance Society.

Ashley Weil, Vice President of Programming. She is majoring in telecommunications arts with a minor in history. She is also a member of the Tri-Delta sorority where she will be part of the membership selection team this August. She plans on pursuing a career in public relations after her graduation in December of 2006 and attending University of Georgia football games for many years to come.

Lenae Stansky, Vice President of Media Relations.  Lenae is a sophomore from Athens, GA who is majoring in biology, with a possible pre-med intent.  She is very active in her church's college ministry, and spends her spare time as the layout and design manager for a local Athens magazine.

Faculty Members

Craig Shane, Head Faculty Advisor. He is the Assistant Director Undergraduate Programs at the Terry College of Business.

Dr. Karen Leonas is a Professor of Textile Sciences and the Graduate Coordinator for the Department of Textiles, Merchandising and Interiors. She has been at UGA since 1990 and became a member of the URT Board last year. Dr. Leonas teaches both underdgraduate and graduate courses, has directed off-campus programs in London, Mexico and New York, and directs a research program in biomedical textiles including protective apparel for healthcare workers and the development of antimicrobial chemicals for use on textiles and other polymeric materials.

Community Members

Joan Zitzelman, Community Advisor. A tourism marketing consultant and UGA grad, she has served as a community member of the URT Board since the organization was founded.

Tom Wyatt - is member of the business community, and is an active participant in the University Round Table. He represents the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, where he is the Director of Community Development.
