The University of Georgia Visitors Center began operation in 1996 with
a charge to provide a warm welcome to visitors, to collect and provide
accurate information about the institution and to aid visitors in
accomplishing the purpose of their visit to campus.
Located in a former dairy barn on East Campus, the Visitor Center
occupies the southern wing of the Four Towers Building (the four
towers representing the building's four silos). The center assists
visitors and maintains up-to-date information about campus, local
accommodations, special events and campus maps.
The UGA Visitors Center also conducts tours of the campus. For
campus tour times or other information, please call the center
at (706) 542-0842.
HOURS
The UGA Visitors Center is typically open:
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
* The Visitors Center is closed on official university holidays.

PARKING
For access to the Visitors Center, visitors may park in the adjacent
parking lot and obtain a parking pass inside the center. Additional
visitor parking is available in pay-per-hour lots and parking decks
around campus. The Visitors Center staff will be happy to show you
the parking area closest to your destination.

STAFF
The Visitors Center is staffed primarily by current University
of Georgia students. These "Bulldogs" come from a variety of
backgrounds and academic pursuits, but all have an obvious
affection for the University and a desire to share it with
visitors. Students organize tours of campus, give directions,
provide information about local hotels and restaurants and
lend insight into other questions about the University.
In addition, the student staff leads the campus tours, sharing
their knowledge of the university and their first-hand
experiences as UGA students.
If you are interested in working as a student staff member
at the UGA Visitors Center, come on by the Four Towers
Building and fill out an application. We retain all
applications received and will call all of the applicants
in for an interview when we are ready to hire! For more
