The University of Georgia Visitors Center offers a wealth of information and resources to help visitors plan their day here on campus. With touch-screen informational computers, brochure racks, exhibits, a video presentation and a knowledgeable staff, the Visitors Center also acts as the front door of the university, welcoming and assisting visitors. The best way to become acquainted with the University of Georgia campus is to take a campus tour. These tours are given seven days a week from the Visitors Center by current UGA students, with three tours Monday-Friday, two tours Saturday and one on Sunday. Reservations are strongly recommended. To make a tour reservation, please call the Visitors Center at (706) 542-0842.
UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS OFFICE
In addition to the campus tours, visitors are strongly encouraged to attend an undergraduate Admissions Information Session, held each weekday at 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in Terrell Hall. These hour long sessions introduce visitors to the admissions process and provide information about academics, financial aid and student life at the university. In addition to the presentation, ample time is available for questions and discussion with an admissions counselor. GRADUATE ADMISSIONS OFFICE
The university offers a multitude of graduate programs. Prospective graduate students are encouraged to sign up for a campus tour at the Visitors Center by calling (706) 542-0842 and then visiting the Graduate School Admissions Office located on the fifth floor of the Boyd Graduate Studies Research Center. CAMPUS DEPARTMENTS
Many of our visitors have questions about other areas of campus, including housing, academic majors, meal plans, financial aid, the honors program and alumni relations. The Visitors Center carries brochures and information about many of these areas; however, visitors often have individual questions for these specific departments.
