If the reservation system shows that tours are full on a day you wish to visit, do not worry. Our tour is a combination of driving and walking. Because of restrictions on the number of visitors we are allowed to place on our vehicle, we are limited in the number of reservations we can accept for the driving portion of the tour. Upon your arrival at the Visitors Center, ask to be placed on the standby list. Our standby policy is first-come, first-served. If visitors with reservations cancel, do not show, or bring less people than originally planned, we will start at the top of the standby list and add as many people to our vehicle as we can.
If we are unable to accommodate you on the driving portion of the tour on the day you wish to visit, we can guarantee that you will at least be able to participate in the 45-minute walking portion of the tour. Anyone is welcome to join our walking tour even if they do not have a reservation. Once at the Visitors Center, you will be provided with directions and parking information so that you may join us on North Campus for the walking portion of the tour!
