of Georgia, look no further than the UGA Visitors Center!
The Visitors Center conducts regularly scheduled campus
tours seven days a week, with three tours Monday - Friday,
two tours on Saturday and one on Sunday. Tour participants
board the Visitors Center mini-bus for an hour-long combination
driving and walking tour of the campus. Our knowledgeable
student staff lead prospective students and their families,
alumni and special groups through the campus, providing
their insights and wisdom in relating the campus experience.
Schedule Your Visit
To arrange your campus visit, we suggest
you and your family discuss how you'd like to spend your day,
then give us a call any weekday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

make sure you bring along a copy of the confirmation form
you will receive after you register online. If you would like to schedule an information session on the same day, make sure you indicate that when you register online. (Tour
space is limited, so you'll want to have a few possible visit
dates in mind before calling for reservations. If you are
unable to book a reservation for a campus tour, please contact
our reservation line at 706/542-0842 for information on
our standby policy.)
There's
always something going on at UGA, so you might want to schedule
your visit to coincide with a special event, a show or a
game while you are here. Check the UGA
master calendar for a preview of events.
Please make sure you are scheduled for only one tour. Cancel any tours you are not planning to attend. Our tours are very popular and space is tight. We appreciate all you can do to make sure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy our campus.
Standby Policy
Tour space is limited, so you'll want to have a few possible visit dates in mind.
Our standby policy is on a first come, first serve basis. As soon as you arrive at
the Visitors Center, on the date you are interested in, we will put your name on
the standby list. If visitors with reservations do not show, cancel or bring less
people than originally planned, we will start at the top of the standby list and
add as many people as we can. If you are unable to jump on the driving portion
of the tour, do not worry! Our tour is two parts, driving and walking. The first 15
minutes of the tour is the driving portion (we will give you the information you
might miss) followed by 30 minutes of walking on historic North Campus.
Anyone is welcome to join our walking tour. We will provide you with directions
and parking information so that you may join us on North Campus! If you have
any questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Self-Guided Tour
If you are unable to work a guided Campus Tour into your schedule, please print our self-guided tour and a campus map.
Group Tours
For groups of eight (8) or more, we ask that you schedule a group tour. To schedule your group tour, please call 706/542-8594. Group tours are available Monday through Friday and are structured for the 6th grade level and up. Please call at least 3 weeks in advance to schedule a group tour.
Please note: Due to the number of high school groups we see during March and April, we are unable to conduct campus tours for middle school groups during these months. We may have to limit or suspend group tours while our student staff is unavailable, such as when classes are not in session (holidays, summer, etc.)

If you happen to be visiting the University of Georgia campus,
stop by the Visitors Center! We try our best to accommodate
walk-ins for the campus tour by signing visitors up on a stand-by
list, encouraging them to join the walking portion of the
tour or by providing information a self-guided tour.
