>Informational Meeting - 8/21/07
Curious about water polo? Did you swim in high school and play a little bit of polo? Did someone on the team invite you to come by? Or, do you simply want to know how we keep the horses from drowning?

In any case, come to the bleachers by the diving well in the Gabrielsen Natatorium (in the Ramsey Center) tomorrow, Tuesday August 21st at 7:30 PM for a brief informational meeting. Questions? See our contact page.

>Meet our new coach!
We’re excited and honored to have Paula Frances Gay as our new coach for the 2007-2008 season. Here’s a brief autobiography she kindly submitted:

“My name is Paula Frances Gay, but I go by PF. I recently graduated from Emory University with a bachelor’s degree in Religion and Journalism. I currently work for a para-church organization at UGA called Greek Intervarsity.

My water polo experience includes playing through high school at the Hotchkiss School and playing at Emory University. At both schools, I played both hole offense and hole defense. More importantly, I love water polo.

My coaching experience includes coaching a men’s basketball team and a kid’s riding team. I’m excited to coach you guys, and I can’t wait to see you in the pool!”

> Water Polo Tailgate Tomorrow - 9/2/06
Come find us up on North Campus tomorrow to get some great food and support the Water Polo Club at UGA at the same time.
If somebody let’s me know in time, I’ll post a specific location, too.

> We’ve got a new web page!
Okay, so maybe it doesn’t deserve an exclamation point, but it is at least moderately better looking and easier to navigate than the old one. If you want to read all of last year’s news, click here to see it in all its ugly glory.
