The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and Enterprise
Information and Technology Services (EITS) are pleased to invite you to
attend a series of free training seminars/workshops for UGA personnel who
wish to learn about incorporating eLearning Commons into their courses.
Workshops will be held in room 372 on the third floor of the Student
Learning Center. Directions and other information may be found at

Topics for these workshops are:
- WebCT to eLC Course migration Clinic
- eLC Quickstart
- Gradebook Management
The hands-on workshops are conducted on PCs running Windows.
Additional workshops may be added, so please check the schedule
periodically. A complete list of workshops offered by the eLearning Commons Support Team may be seen

WebCT to eLC Course migration ClinicThe eLC support team is available to help you convert your course from WebCT to eLearning Commons (eLC) during this open clinic. We will assist you in exporting course materials from WebCT and then importing them into eLC. You may drop in at any time during the scheduled session for individual assistance on a first come, first served basis.

questions. eLC QuickstartIn this workshop you will learn how to customize eLearning Commons (eLC) for your class, upload and manage course materials, create links, and add tools. It will introduce you to the Gradebook feature, where you will manage student information. This workshop is a prerequisite for all other workshops and is highly recommended for every new eLC user.

questions. Gradebook ManagementThis hands-on workshop is designed to be taken after Designer Quickstart. You will learn how to use the advanced features of student gradebook, including creating and modifying various column types, entering and releasing grades to your students, and importing/exporting your grades to Microsoft Excel. You will also learn about grading forms (rubrics).
