Trela Natasha Anderson
is a first year Master of Arts student in the
English Department at the University of Georgia. Her areas of interest
include 20th Century American Literature and African-American Literature,
especially works by black women. She is presently the Vice-president of
Klub Kuumba, an African American culturally-based poetry organization
that allows amateur and professional poets to read, critique, and support
poetry as a literary, cultural, and spiritual form of expression. As an
intern at the Womanist Studies Consortium, she helped to organize various
fellowship and summer seminar applications, and is currently compiling an
annotated bibliography of womanist sources.
