(4/26/05) Affiliate faculty member Carolyn Medine was recently awarded the Sandy Beaver Award for excellence in teaching. The Sandy Beaver Awards were established in 1978 by trustees of Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville. Read More.

 

(4/26/05) Susan Thomas, Assistant Professor of Music and Women's Studies, has been awarded a Center for Humanities and Arts Junior Faculty Summer Fellowship. Read More.

 

 

(4/21/05) April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and the University of Georgia and Athens-area organizations have come together and to plan this year’s “Take Back the Night” event, an international rally and march that is organized in local communities. Read More.
