What is Environmental Health Science? Environmental health science is the study of the biological, chemical
or physical agents introduced into the environment or occurring naturally
and their effects on human health and ecological systems. The field also
includes the study of human activities, a vital component in our complex
ecosystem. Environmental health scientists serve the general welfare by
safeguarding and improving the quality of food, shelter, air, water and
other natural resources. |
