Donations
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to make a financial
contribution to the UGA Environmental Health Science Department.
You can make
a secure credit card contribution online. When doing so, please type
Environmental Health Science Department in the form where it says Specify
other/multiple gift areas and dollar amounts benefiting each. Doing so
will ensure that your gift is directed to the EHS Department.
If you would like to specify that your contribution be put to a specific
use, please do so:
- Environmental Health Science Discretionary Fund,
established to provide general support for the environmental Health
Science department. This shall include, but not be limited to programs,
invitations, supplies, equipment, travel, and entertainment.
- The Rowe Environmental Health Award, named in honor of the
Rowe Family and in memory of Kimberly Lynne Rowe (1970-1995), an Environmental
Health Science alumnus and a budding public health professional. This
fund endows a scholarship for undergraduate students dedicated to public
health.
- John J. Sheuring Scholarship, established in 1967 by the Georgia
Society of Professional Sanitarians (now known as the Georgia Environmental
Health Association) in honor of Professors John Sheuring and Herb Henderson
who started the Environmental Health Science program.
