Academics: Advisement

Advisement appointments are scheduled during fall and spring semesters approximately one month prior to the beginning of registration. All EHS advisors are located in the Environmental Health Science Building:

• Dr. M.A. Smith, Rm 202
• Dr. P. Williams, Rm 204

Scheduling Advisement Appointments

1. If you are a new student or have recently transferred to the department, locate your name on the student listing posted for the current semester on the bulletin board by Room 205 EHS Bldg. Your advisor's name will be listed to the right of your name. Once an advisor has been arranged, students will work with the same advisor through graduation.
2. Find the sign-up sheet for your advisor. The sheets are usually posted on Thursday mornings for the following week. Please be sure to sign up for an appointment on your advisor's sheet.
3. Be prepared for the advisement appointment. Have some idea of the courses you need to take, when the courses will be offered, etc.

Degree requirement sheets for a BSEH degree are provided in a packet near the bulletin board by Room 205.
