Graduate Leadership
The
International Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta is blessed with literally
hundreds of Graduate Brothers who serve in volunteer leadership
positions throughout the United States and Canada. Although the
Ekklesiai (our biennial international conventions) and the day-to-day
chapter affairs of our Fraternity are governed by the Undergraduate
Brothers, the continuity, stability and long-term growth of Phi
Gamma Delta is ensured by the dedication and commitment of loyal
Graduate Brothers.
The
leadership of each Phi Gamma Delta Chapter includes graduate brothers
who act as advisors in one of several capacities:
- the
Purple Legionnaire is the principal Graduate Brother responsible
for guiding our chapter;
- the
Board of Chapter Advisors (BCA);
- the
House Corporation, which oversees the physical property belonging
to the chapter;
- the
Section Chief is the liaison between the chapter and the International
Fraternity; and
- the
Field Secretary, assists chapters with operations through local
visits twice a year
Kappa
Deuteron's Purple Legionnaire
is Jere Morehead, who has served in
this capacity since 1989. (See Brother Morehead bio, including his
position with the University)
Many
thanks to our past Purple Legionnaires Capt. Michael M. Morse, Bill
Bracewell and William Hardell, Sr., for their many years of leadership
and service to the chapter.
