            Points System:

 

  • Attending regular meetings:
    0.5 points per meeting
  • Bringing donations
    (specific meetings only):

    0.5 points
  • Tutoring, Assisted Home visits, etc.
    (Golden Key sponsored):

    1 point per visit
  • Major project participation
    (e.g. Relay, Fundraiser, etc.)
    :
    3 points
  • Social Events:
    0.5 points per event
  • Induction Ceremony:
    1 point
  • Golden Key sponsored national events:
    5 points

Active/Meritorious Membership:

An “active member” is hereby
defined as a member who accumulates
at least 5 points per semester. Active
members will receive a certificate, in
addition to other forms of recognition,
for their hard work and achievement
throughout the semester.

A “meritorious member” is hereby
defined as a member who accumulates at
least 10 points for the semester. Meritorious
membership includes all benefits received
from active membership and entails
possible selection for a local
chapter scholarship.

 

Rewards Program:

  • Two $10 Gift Certificates will be
    awarded each month in a drawing of all
    members who participated in service projects
    (for that month):
    • Service projects does not include
      meetings or social events
    • Participants must be at an event
      for at least 30 min to qualify
    • Drawings will occur at the last
      meeting of the month
    • Members do not need to be
      present to win (but must contact
      Brian to receive prize)
  • Random distribution of Golden Key
    accessories during meetings
  • Active members will receive certificate,
    etc. at last meeting of semester
