Academic assistance and tutoring
UGA students needing academic help outside the classroom have free access to Georgia Perimeter College’s Office of Instructional Support Services, located in B2400-2450. UGA’s Student Affairs Office, located in A1160, has a small library of materials, such as “Secrets to Writing Great Papers.”

Advising
Advising is provided through the academic unit where your major is housed.

Library
The library, located in Building B, has an in-house collection of books, periodicals and microfilm. Students, faculty and staff also have access to the collections of other colleges and universities in the University System of Georgia and to the GALILEO suite of databases

Open Computer Lab
The Open Computer Lab is located in A1510, with 72 stations available for student use six days a week. All computers are web-accessible and print-ready.

Testing services
The Student Affairs Office provides a variety of testing services to UGA at Gwinnett students. Exams are free and administered by appointment. Students required to take the Regents Test can take the exam through UGA in Athens, registering via OASIS, or through Georgia Perimeter College. For the latter, complete a request to take the test at a location other than Athens and register for the test in the Student Affairs Office (A1160).
