| May 27, 1989 | Alternate Realities II held. |
| ?1989/1990? | University of Georgia Gaming Society (UGGS) formed by
Sean Fannon as a tabletop RPG-only club. |
| 1990 | Members Sean Fannon and Cheryl Curry married. |
| 1990 | Jim Horvat re-elected President (only club president ever elected to
two terms). |
| May 20, 1990 | Alternate Realities III held. |
| January 26, 1991 | Alternate Realities IV held. |
| May, 1991 | Alain Assaf elected 5th President. |
| September, 1991 | AATL and UGGS merge to form Alternate Realities
Continuum (ARC). |
| October, 1991 | The Wyrd takes the place of The Who's
Times as the club's official publication |
| April 11, 1992 | "The Lord of the Eggs" LARP scenario held. This event
triggered the creation of ARIA. |
| May 16, 1992 | Alternate Realities V held. |
| June 22, 1992 | Clayton Smith dies from a conginetal heart defect. |
| September 12, 1992 | First public Alternate Realities Interactive Adventure
(ARIA) held. |
| 1992 | Sean Fannon elected 6th President. |
| November, 1992 | Lance Dwyer dies of heart failure during an ARIA
practice at Ben Burton Park. |
| January 16, 1993 | Unofficial AR 5.5 held. |
| 1993 | Chris Weinmann elected 7th President. |
| August, 1993 | Quill & Saber replaces The Wyrd as the
club's official publication. |
| Fall, 1993 | Creation of Frontiers in response to a HERO-centric leadership
of ARC. |
| October, 1993 | Magic: the Gathering hits Athens. Conflict between card
gamers and role-players create such problems that by the end of 1994, ARC is in severe decline and
Frontiers is all but disbanded. |
| January, 1994 | Robby Bryant and Genelle Helms found murdered in their
apartment. No one has ever been convicted for the crime. After this tragedy, many of the remaining
long-time members begin to leave the Athens area. |
| May 14, 1994 | Members Colin Caban-Wheeler and Angie ? married. |
| August 17, 1994 | Members Matthew Wood and Leila Horton married. |
| October, 1994 | Halloween party and election meeting. Matthew Wood
elected 8th President. First club-run live-action Vampire: the Masquerade game (Storyteller: Leila
Wood). |
| December 17, 1994 | Members Mike Finnegan and Andi Davis married. |
| January, 1995 | In an attempt to revitalize ARC and remove the cliqueish
reputation from the group, ARC merges with Frontiers to form OtherWorlds. The new name was chosen
because "it's the only one that all present didn't think sucked." |
| May 12-13, 1995 | Atlernate Realities VI held. Sheer lack of interest for
this mini-con made it the last of its kind to date. No attempts have been made to run ARVII. |
| October 28, 1995 | First public Athens By Night (ABN) held. |
| Late January, 1996 | Nathan Atkins selected as 9th president. |
| ? 1996 | Steve McDonald (then Vice President) selected as 10th
President. |
| May 1, 1996 | Members Danny Baker and Marie Haynes married. |
| January 31, 1997 | Club-funded trip to opening night of Star Wars:
Special Edition. |
| March 25-27, 1997 | Three-day ARIA held in Rising Fawn,GA.. |
| May 28, 1997 | J. Travis elected 11th President. |
| July 19, 1997 | Club-funded trip to Stone Mountain Park. |
| September 13, 1997 | 5th Anniversary ARIA. Unveiling of the ARIA 2nd
Edition Rules. |
