The University of Georgia, Department of Religion, is
seeking a Lecturer in SOUTH ASIAN RELIGIONS, to begin Fall 2008. The position
is renewable. The successful candidate will teach eight courses per year at the
lower- and upper-division undergraduate level. Ph.D. required; teaching
experience highly desired. Applicants should have the ability to teach
Hinduism, South Asian Buddhism, and an introductory course on the Religions of
India, China and Japan. Ability to teach introductory courses on Asian-American
religions desired. The Franklin College of Arts & Sciences, its many
