Membership Applications

All memberships are on a calendar year basis. Applications received after August 15, will apply to the next calendar year. Membership includes a subscription to the Journal Southern History. Please note that the dues are quite modest for a professional organization and provide a splendid opportunity for historians, history enthusiasts, and students to affiliate with a first-rate, scholarly enterprise. The student membership rate is subsidized by funds from the Numan V. Bartley bequest.
