Ann Neville Miller won the 2007 NCA G. R. Miller Dissertation Award
K. Laura Keck won the 2006 Thesis of the Year Award, International Communication Association, Interpersonal Communication Division.
S. Brown-Givens won the 2002 Dissertation of the Year Award by the NCA Black Caucus.
Ashley Duggan, won the Thesis of the Year:  ICA/NCA Health Comm.
Kathryn Greene won the NCA Dissertation Award.
Kathryn Greene was the Chair of the NCA Health Communication Division.
