Brian Todd

- Ph. D. Student -

Brian Todd is a Ph.D. student in Ecology at The University of Georgia. Brian has had a lifelong interest in reptiles and amphibians beginning with his early involvement in the Georgia Herpetological Society at the age of 12. He finished his B.S. in Ecology in 2000 and his M.S. in Conservation Ecology in 2002.

Brian's dissertation research has focused on aspects of amphibian growth and survival in the terrestrial environment following forest clearing. In collaboration with other colleagues working on the LEAP study, his work has helped identify some of the mechanisms that underlie amphibian population declines in response to habitat alteration.
