RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests and activities encompass the major areas of : 1) physiology, population biology and evolutionary ecology, and 2) toxicology of heavy metals associated with coal combustion waste products, and 3) toxicology of mixed waste such as low level radiation and heavy metals.  I am interested in the physiological and ecological processes combine to shape reproductive, demographic, and life history strategies in natural and contaminated environments.  I have conducted field and laboratory investigations of energetics, growth, demography and reproductive biology of vertebrates.
