Coordinated collaborations with the United States Geological Survey
regarding the reestablishment of the North American Reporting
Center for Amphibian Malformations. Continued work on long-term
herpetofaunal monitoring projects, herpetological conservation,
and other Herp Lab research projects.

Projects included: reptile and amphibian conservation, herpertofaunal population and community analyses, trapping efficacy research, biodiversity surveys, snake behavior studies, and snake physiology experiments

Studied amphibian populations in contiguous and non-contiguous
vernal pool study sites in northern Minnesota. Collected and processed
biotic and abiotic environmental quality data and maintained project
database.

Taught laboratory sessions covering basic ecological principles. In addition, we covered different social and political implications for ecological knowledge. Topics ranged from basic population ecology to discussions on environmental ethics.
