Professional Experience:

  • 2001-December 2003 - Graduate research assistant at the University of Georgia's Savannah River Ecology Lab, Aiken SC. Duties include radio-tracking gopher tortoises (Gopherus polyphemus) on the Savannah River Site; population assessments of diamondback terrapins (Malaclemys terrapin) in coastal South Carolina; long-term herpetological community analysis; herpetological inventories of the Southeast Coastal Network of the U.S. National Park Service; environmental outreach and education.
