The Mississippi Choctaw Reservation
The Choctaw who refused removal were granted
a federal recognition in 1918 and a small reservation was eventually established
in central Mississippi. The reservation is located a little north of Meridian
and Jackson, and is near Philadelphia, MS. It is a 7 hour drive from Athens
to play Toli "on their turf".

Brief History section of this site.
