Toli: The ball - Towa

towa The ball used in Toli is a bit bigger than a standard golf ball and a little softer. When thrown it can reach very high velocities and has often drawn blood upon impact with a player.

The core of the ball used in Toli is a small rock. Traditionally this core is wrapped in cloth then laced with leather cord. Often, however, in modern games, duct tape is substituted for the cloth wrap to make the ball harder and heavier. A hard, heavy ball favors the team that has greater physical strength.
