Anonymous FTP at UGA

EITS maintains an anonymous FTP server ftp.uga.edu where documentation, patches, utilities, etc. can be found for various systems in the /pub directory.

There is a directory /inbound where your contributions may be left. When you put a file in inbound, please fill out a EITS Problem Report letting us know the nature of the file and where you would like it placed. We will not accept any materials unless you have the right to distribute them.

Note: in order to access the anonymous ftp server, your system must be registered in the campus name server. To find out if your system is registered and how to register it if it's not see www.uga.edu/netinfo/nettools/registered.html.
