Kirsten Rambo is currently a graduate student at the University of Georgia and a senior intern for the Womanist Studies Consortium. Presently, she is teaching a first-year composition class and completing her Master's degree in English Literature. Her thesis is entitled, " 'Inspiration to the Girls of Present and Future Generations': Textual Representations of Sojourner Truth and Harriet Tubman in the Twentieth Century." Additional research interests include twentieth-century American literature and feminist issues relating to women of color and Irish women. This fall, she will attend attend Emory University in Atlanta to pursue a Ph.D. in Women's Studies.
