Help for Searching Womanist Theory and Research

This is a search item for all items in our Web Site. Type your search terms next to the Search for: box. Connecting your search terms with and will limit your search results to only those items which contain all keywords. If you choose or, your search results will include all items which contain any one of the keywords. For example, a search for:

athens and georgia

will find only those items which contain the word "athens" and the word "georgia." A search for:

athens or georgia

will find those items which contain either the word "athens" or the word "georgia."

Keywords can be "wildcarded" using an asterisk. For example, a search for:

georg*

will find all those items which contain words that begin with "georg."

You can select the number of items that will be returned in the Maximum Items to Find: box (between 10 and 100, with 40 the default). Use the List Items by:box to select how the items will be displayed, either alphabetically by title, by size (largest item first), or by score (most relevant items first based on occurrence of words in the item relative to size of the item).

Select Do Search after typing your keywords, connectors, etc. A list of documents, images, and other items will be displayed.

Viewing the Materials in the List

Any document, image, etc., can be selected as you would any other link on any page.
