Located at the corner of Lumpkin and Baxter Street, Correll Hall is Phase I of Terry's new Business Learning Community and will provide state-of- the-art facilities for our graduate programs and college administration. With 74,291 gross square feet, it includes 10 classrooms, a business innovation lab, multiple project team rooms, a graduate commons and designated spaces for formal and casual faculty, student and business practitioner interaction.
Correll Hall is named in honor of Alston D. (Pete) Correll, Jr. (BBA '63) and his wife Ada Lee F. Correll (BSED '63), for their generosity in support of the University of Georgia's mission of academic excellence. A 1994 Terry Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, Pete is the chairman emeritus of Georgia Pacific and a co-founder of Atlanta Equity. Ada Lee is a former teacher who believes in the value of volunteerism and giving back. Pete and Ada Lee are renowned throughout Georgia for their civic leadership and philanthropic efforts, many of which support education at all levels.
