Add period for graduate level coursesTuesday, August 26, 2008 Mary Frances Early Lecture Ms. Early was formally recognized by UGA for the first time at a reception hosted by Graduate and Professional Scholars in the spring of 2000. Since then, her namesake has been enshrined by GAPS via an annual event called the Mary Frances Early Lecture. GAPS is a student run organization whose main purpose is to serve minority graduate students here at the University of Georgia. We strive to be an academic and social outlet for minority graduate students and to help us accomplish this we plan to hold several professional development programs, lectures, discussions, and socials that will bring graduate students together in an amiable environment throughout the school year. If you have any questions at all please feel free to contact either myself or any members on the executive board.
